This site lists doctors who provide a full, private, specialist service for sexual health and the diagnosis and care of sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), HIV/AIDS and genito-urinary medicine. The doctors are all fully accredited specialists in the area of Sexually Transmitted Infections and/or Infectious Diseases. They are on the specialist register of the Irish Medical Council or the British Medical Council in the fields of Genito-Urinary Medicine or Infectious Diseases
The Gay Men's Health Project, based at Dublin's Baggot Street hospital, has been providing health clinics and outreach health services to Dublin's gay community for nine years. The medical care at the GMHS is supervised by Dr. Susie Clarke, Consultant in Infectious Diseases at The GUIDE Clinic. Doctors and Health Advisors from The GUIDE Clinic also work at the GMHS.
We are introducing online bookings for the Guide Clinic. For the initial Phase of the project, we are only catering for Non-Symptom STI Screening Tests and PrEP clinic appointments. We will look to bring other Appointment Types online soon, but for now only those patients with no symptoms can book online. For all other patients please see the Coming to See Us area of the website.
MONKEYPOX: If you are concerned that you have symptoms of Monkeypox or have been a close contact of somebody with Monkeypox please phone the clinic in advance of your appointment. Please DO NOT walk in. This will enable us to arrange appropriate care for you. Please phone (01) 416 2315, Option 1.
Vaccinations against Monkeypox are currently not yet available at the GUIDe Clinic. This website will be updated as information is made available to us.
In line with public health guidance, please DO NOT attend the GUIDe clinic if you have symptoms of COVID19 or are a COVID19 contact.
Online STI bookings: www.swiftqueue.com please book into the appropriate clinic. Appointments are released regularly so please check back for availability. There is no walk-in STI service.
